Animal Care Support - Dogs - Volunteering

Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do.  We care for hundreds of abandoned, abused and neglected animals each year. Our job is to make sure our animals are cared for by providing them with a safe space, access to veterinary treatment and plenty of love. Part of our job is to ensure our animals are fully prepared, before they are adopted – no matter how long this may take.

We are looking for people who are self-motivated, adaptable and passionate about animal welfare, ideally able to be consistent with the time they give, have experience with animal welfare and be able to provide our dogs with the enrichment,  love and care that they deserve.

In return you will receive valuable experience and you will be actively encouraged to complete our online courses and RSPCA standard procedures training in animal welfare functions.

If you are interested in volunteering with us either fill out the application form on our website or download your form here and send it to reception@cdch.org.uk

Please include the volunteer position you are applying for in the email subject field.
