Donate in Memory
We recognise the special significance of fundraising or making a donation in memory of a loved one. There are lots of different ways you can support the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home in celebration and remembrance of someones life.
The Tree of Life
Our Beech Tree is a beautiful, handcrafted metal sculpture located just outside our main reception that allows personalised engraved leaves to be added to the branches to create a stunning and poignant lasting collection of memories and special messages. The tree represents the beauty of life, enduring strength and eternal peace.
Leaves can be dedicated in memory of a loved one, to express thanks, as a gift, to show support to the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home or simply with your own name or personal message. Email us to find out more
Often family will ask for donations to the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home in lieu of flowers at a loved one’s funeral. We can provide you with forms for friends and family to complete to help us claim gift aid. Your funeral directors will do all the work for you and collect in the donations to send to us. Cheques to be made payable to 'the Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home'. You may also want to think about creating a Funeral Tribute Fund, if so read on.
We understand that the loss of somebody close is a deeply personal experience. Tribute funds are a unique way to make a lasting tribute to a loved one and for many people, supporting a cause by concentrating your time and effort into keeping a memory alive can help with loss. You can also create a Funeral Tribute Page which also can act as a funeral notice where you can share practical funeral arrangements with your friends and family as well as offering them the ability to make their donation online and leave a message of condolence.
You can set up a tribute fund in the name of your loved one and, as it is personal to you, you have the choice of how and when it is added to. Your gifts, and those of your family and friends who can also be invited to contribute, will help us continue to care for vulnerable animals whilst at the same time act as lasting tribute to your loved one. click here to set up an on-line tribute fund https://www.muchloved.com/
