Please note that we are not a veterinary practice and your pet may be referred to a veterinary practice to receive treatment. In this instance we may be able to assist by providing a help voucher, see voucher scheme below.

How do I qualify for the clinic?
As long as you are currently claiming one of these benefits, and live in our postcode catchment area, you are eligible for our help.
Qualifying benefits:
- Income Support
- Jobseeker's Allowance (JSA)
- Employment and support Allowance (ESA)
- Pension Credits
- Housing Benefit
- Incapacity Benefit
- Severe disablement allowance
- Universal Credit

To make an appointment please call 01453 890014 or pop into the clinic on the above days and times. Please remember to bring £15 cash (the fee of using our clinic) and proof of your benefits (a recent letter within the last 3 months).

Voucher Scheme
The Voucher Scheme policy has been designed to ensure that as many animals as possible can benefit from our limited resources. As with our clinic the scheme exists to provide people on income support with a low cost solution to their animal health problems.
Help Vouchers
The RSPCA will cover 25% of the quoted vet costs if the amount exceeds £150. The maximum value of the voucher is £100. The quote must be communicated to CDCH prior to any treatment being carried out. In order to qualify, the pet owner will need to provide proof of one the following benefits:

A special case referral by a veterinary surgeon or approved by the committee
The voucher can be issued from the three clinics listed above, during clinic opening hours or from the rehoming centre during opening hours.
Please note that only one voucher can be issued in any 12 month period.
Neutering Vouchers
These vouchers are available to those people meeting the same criteria as above. CDCH offers a fixed contribution towards the neutering of your animal, highlighted below:

You will then be issued an RSPCA Voucher to take to your vet, advising them of our contribution towards your animals neuter.
