HUGE Thanks to Petplan Animal Live Fund (£4,250 grant) and Petplan Charitable Trust (£5,000) as we have secured an awesome £9,250 grant towards the cost of veterinary bills this year!
This is amazing news and we are so grateful for their help and support, as each year we budget thousands of pounds for the cost of veterinary fees and treatments. We predict that the cost of vet fees across rehoming, clinic welfare and neutering will reach approximately £100,000 in 2020. This includes routine neutering, vaccinations and treatment for fleas/worms/ticks for the majority of animals we rehome. We run three subsidised clinics each week providing basic health checks and veterinary care. These clinics are offered to more disadvantage members of the community and are held at our centre veterinary suite, in Stroud and Gloucester. We also offer reduced fee neutering scheme, help vouchers and microchipping
Thanks to PetPlan we can continue to help animals like Wilf (pictured). Wilf suffered an irreversible injury to his back-left leg and as a result had to have an amputation. He is now healing very well and coping with life on three leg. Wilf is now ready for adoption and looking for a new home Click Here to see his profile and our other dogs available for adoption.
Petplan also support us by offering our supoorters, staff and adopters four weeks free pet insurance. To activate your 4 weeks free Petplan insurance click here using the reference number: 1300052375
