CDCH Prepare For Exciting Re-Opening Of Their Charity Shops

With the restrictions being lifted slightly, we are very excited to announce we are able to start to re-open our charity shops!

The centre has lost around £30,000 per month from shop profits since the start of lockdown. This news means we can ensure the centre has the funds it needs to continue to support animals in need.

We have included some information about the re-opening below including dates of re-opening, donation details and social distance measures.

We want to thank you for your support and we can't wait to see you back at our shops soon!

We are working to re-open all of our other shops, more information about those will follow.

Shops opening hours will be Mon-Sat (9am-4.30pm) & Sun (10am-3.30pm). The amended shop opening times will allow us to deep clean the shop at the end of each day.

We expect to see many lovely donations come in as we start to open our shops. We have limited storage space at our shops so to ensure we are prepared and have space please follow the steps below when donating:

- Ring the shop you are taking the donations to (contact numbers for our shops can be found by clicking here.

- If you are able to - please bring donations in the last couple of hours of trading.

All clothing and fabric donations will be quarantined for a minimum of 72 hours before we are able to sort through and make available for sale to the public. All clothing will be thoroughly steamed prior to display. All other stock will be cleaned using an anti-bacterial cleaner.

Our changing rooms will be closed, but don't worry - if you have something that doesn't fit we will offer a 30 day return for clothing, with proof of purchase.

We will only be accepting card payments.

Please only visit our shops if you are well and you are showing no symptoms of COVID-19. Please keep to the 2m social distancing. Posters and information will be within the shops.

Hand sanitizer will be available at the entrance and at selected points throughout the shop.
