Poor Arthur needs your ongoing support
Updated: Mar 18
Arthur, a Great Dane cross, came into our care from the RSPCA Hospital in Newbrook. He was found, dumped in a park in need of emergency medical care. Arthur was very underweight exposing bones and extremely week. He has many pressure wounds which were very infected – most likely due to being left laying in his own feaces and urine. He also has ear infections which we are also treating.
Arthurs conditions are heart-breaking. This poor dog was suffering and rather than seeking medical care before it got to this dire point, he was abandoned.
Despite his conditions, Arthur is a happy boy, he is very sweet and loves a cuddle – even if we cant quite fit both arms around this big boy!
Tash, an Animal Care Assistant at The Cotswolds Dogs & Cats Home said 'Knowing Arthur was abandoned and just left all alone makes me feel so sad as he is a big friendly giant who just wants all the affection he can get. He is a true big softie and any one would be lucky to have him in their lives'.
Arthur needs constant medical care but we are confident we can make him more comfortable and get in on the road to recovery with your support.
If you can support Arthur with a regular donation or a single donation towards his care we would be very grateful.
Arthurs medical costs alone will cost around £300 a month (medication and vet time) as well as a STAGGERING 1kg of food per day on a special diet (£100 a month) meaning we need to raise £400 a month.
