Due to high volumes of forms coming in we are only able to respond to successful matches. We will however keep your form on file, so should your perfect match come in – we will get in contact with you! Thank you for your understanding.
We want to find the perfect home for our animals and the perfect animal for you. Our process may work slightly differently to how you might expect.
We carefully match potential adopters with our animals using an appointment viewing system – a little like a dating agency!
We have laid out our rehoming process step by step below so you know just what to expect:
You fill in a Perfect Match Form (1st step achieved!)
If we have an animal that we think is a match for your basic requirements we will then take time to chat with you about what you would like, find out a little about your lifestyle and help you choose a cat or dog suitable for your family – don’t worry if we haven’t got the perfect animal for you at the time, we will keep you on file for 3 months and get in contact if an animal comes in that suits your home.
The next stage is a bit like a first date – we invite you to come in and meet the animal, learn a little bit more about them and see if it is love at first sight!
If everything goes well, you might like a second date…
If you find the perfect companion one of our adoption support volunteers will pop along to see you at home
If everything is going well then we can progress with the adoption and you just need to pop in to fill out all the paperwork, pay the adoption fee and have a final chat with our team then you can take your new family member home!
..Because rescuing one animal may not change the world, but for that animal their world is changed forever.
