I could live with another dog

Ideal Home Situation

I'm looking for someone home a lot of the time and someone with lots of love to give

Beautiful Wilf, our 20 month old lurcher, suffered an injury to his rear left leg unfortunately, resulting in amputation.

We are seeking an experienced home, to support us with Wilf's rehabilitation. He will require someone to be around the majority of the time as he doesn't like to be alone for long.

Wilf could go to a home with another dog, he has benefited and felt more secure whilst in his foster home having another dog around. Play time will have to be kept to a minimum whilst he is recovering from his leg operation.

He can live with children as he loves them. The children would need to be dog savvy as he can be a bit boisterous and noisy when in full play mode!

Wilfs new family will have the full support of the team at the Cotswolds Dogs and Cats Home. There may be the odd trip to the centre or Vale Vets during recovery so someone local would be ideal.

He can be nervous of new people or noises outside but he is learning to be more trusting. His home would need to be understanding and help him through his nerves meeting new people.
